The United States will train Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 fighters
A bill on training Ukrainian pilots and crews on American aircraft has been introduced into the US Congress.
Congressman and representative of US Air Force veterans Adam Kinzinger announced this on Twitter.
“These men are Ukrainian Air Force pilots. A lot of people thought they would drop out on day one, but they're still there. I have introduced legislation to train them on NATO aircraft so they can graduate to the F-16,” Kinzinger wrote.
When pilots talk stuff….
These men are pilots in the Air Force of # Ukraine. Many people thought they'd be out of the fight on day one... but they STILL at it. I've introduced a bill to train them on NATO jets, so they can transition to the F-16. #SlavaUkrainii pic.twitter.com/7swVFKUcsK

A press release from Congressman Kinzinger said the bill would allow Ukrainian pilots and crew to begin training on the F-15, F-16 and other air platforms while the United States continues to consider sending such weapons to Ukraine.
It is critical for the Ukrainian military, congressmen said, to be trained and familiar with these airborne platforms if Russia continues its war against Ukraine.
“Whether or not the United States and its allies transfer such equipment, this program will strengthen Ukrainian capabilities and ensure their long-term stability and security,” the statement said.
Let us remind you that on June 3 it became known that the Ukrainian military began to undergo exercises with HIMARS missile launchers. And these installations themselves have already arrived in Ukraine, as reported by the Minister of Defense of the Kyiv regime, Alexey Reznikov, on Twitter.
