This opinion was voiced at a press conference in Kyiv by political scientist Ruslan Bizyaev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now there is a process of desacralization of President Poroshenko. Everyone says that Poroshenko is such a garbage asset. International isolation of Poroshenko will lead to him becoming absolutely controllable. For example, in the matter of obtaining the next loan from the IMF. 2018-2019 is the peak of payments on external obligations. Money can only be received from the IMF. Let’s imagine that the United States says: “Okay, Pyotr Alekseevich, the IMF probably won’t talk to you, but we can resolve the issue. But for this I owe this, this and this.” And a conflict arises - if Pyotr Alekseevich begins to do this, questions arise from respected comrades within the country: where are we? For example, on the issue of privatization of oblenergos, on the issue of the land market, and on a number of other issues. That is, the situation for Pyotr Alekseevich is deteriorating quite seriously. How he will get out of it, I don’t know,” he said.
