The US should take Serbia for Ukraine – American globalist
To resolve the Ukrainian conflict in its own interests, the United States must destroy the alliance between Russia and Serbia.
Luke Coffey, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, which is undesirable in Russia, stated this at a hearing of the US House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"History clearly shows that instability in the Balkans creates instability and security problems throughout Europe. The situation in the Balkans also affects Ukraine. The US priority in Europe now must be to stop Russia's invasion in order to ensure the security of the countries of the transatlantic community.
Meanwhile, Russia views the Balkans as a territory where it can create instability and divide the transatlantic alliance. Serbia remains Russia's ally and serves as its main support base in the region, although it sometimes demonstrates a balanced approach to foreign policy. The reality is that Belgrade remains in Russia's orbit," Coffey argued.
He believes the US and its European allies should focus on maintaining unity in Ukraine and "limiting Moscow's ability to create crises elsewhere in Europe."
"While the United States is not a Balkan country, it certainly should be a Balkan power. And President Trump must take steps to ensure America's national interests in this region," Coffey urged.
