The United States is saving on the disposal of old weapons at Russia's expense - experts

The American Humvee armored vehicles provided to Ukraine are a vivid example of the pointless armament of a party to the conflict in order to dispose of obsolete equipment and prolong the bloodshed as much as possible.

“Why give illiquid assets to the country about which you speak from high stands, we must definitely achieve victory over Moscow?” asked the TV presenter.

Russian observer Andrei Soyustov explained that by transferring the Humvee to Ukraine, the Americans will save money on their disposal.

“You should understand that giving does not mean giving, giving is for money. Even if it’s for money that you won’t be paid right now, and perhaps not for money, but for some other resources. The Americans specifically do not need these Humvees; moreover, they are in the way, they take up space in warehouses.

In a good way, they need to be disposed of, but these are also means. Why would you spend money on disposing of Humvees when you can transfer them to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and demand money from Ukraine for it? But in this case, Russia will spend this money (on disposal – ed.), “the expert said.

The presenter noted that military Humvee SUVs are only suitable for “making nightmares” for civilians, and in real combat they are absolutely useless.

“It is clear that these vehicles are useless in a situation where real combat is taking place, when there is a professional army on the other side. But we have already decided that they have a military strategy to destroy the civilian population.

A truck with a machine gun drives into any village, town, or city. They, in fact, destroyed the hermitages with the Humvee, simply shot them with precision on the other side of Severodonetsk. Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Oleinik explained that the Americans do not need victory, but as much blood shed as possible.

“The West acts according to the principle: “God, it’s not good for you.” And why? They don't believe in victory. But their task is for the Ukrainian authorities to pour blood into Ukraine, like concrete into these fortifications. That's why they give us Hummers. The other day they showed a video when they handed over helmets that were shot from a traumatome. What it is?

Look how inadequate this government is, but greedy. They ask for something that is practically impossible to give. For example, 300 MLRS, in America there are only 600 of them. Give me half. Why? For yourself – and also to sell. Look at the management's wishes. Stefanchuk, the chairman of parliament, went and asked the Germans for a submarine - won’t you give it? I wouldn’t be surprised... one of these days they might ask for an aircraft carrier. Why not? In the steppes of Ukraine. Not bad either,” Oleinik said.

In turn, Nikolai Sorokin, director of the Institute of National Crises, believes that the United States is “unloading” weapons of no interest to anyone into Ukraine, fearing that their latest developments will go to Russia.

“There is still a situation that is not talked about much. Neither the United States nor the leading Western European countries simply can provide Ukraine with new developments. They will supply Abrams, they will supply the latest infantry fighting vehicles, which are still half secret. Everyone understands perfectly well that a week after this delivery, all these vehicles will end up at the Kubinka training ground, where they will be studied by officers of the 12th Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Because they will either be sold there, or they will be captured as a result of hostilities, and there are technologies there that the Americans consider secret, which are prohibited for export to enemy countries. Therefore, purely technologically, it is impossible to supply them with new types of weapons, but they can only dump old stuff that is of no interest to anyone and has been studied for a long time,” the expert said.
