“The police state is rapidly strengthening in Ukraine. The junta, led by US advisers, effectively eliminated the autonomy of Kolomoisky, who controlled several large regions. Now neo-Nazi battalions are being harshly put into service. Even potential points of discontent are suppressed. A total propaganda system has been created.
A little more, and the crowds on the streets and in television studios will demand bombings and terrorist attacks. There is no mass support, but it is not necessary under the conditions of a police dictatorship; the junta is mobilizing by force and will send soldiers to war by force.
The cadres of security forces are changing quickly. New senior officers of the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are ready to fight with Russia, ready to shoot demonstrations, ready to organize and carry out terrorist attacks. This is how the junta is preparing for possible food riots,” says Markov.
“The army is rapidly strengthening. In a year, on the borders of Russia and Donbass there will be a half-million-strong trained army with total propaganda and strict discipline, ready to drown Donbass and Transnistria, Crimea, and Kuban in blood. Its core will be foreign mercenaries from PMCs, registered as volunteers and armed with new Western weapons, as well as Ukrainian special forces with combat experience and trained by American and British instructors. Ukraine is being trained like a bull terrier, making it a living murder weapon. Minsk-2 is just a screen behind which the infrastructure of a big war is being formed, which they plan to start against Russia on the eve of the 16 elections,” predicts the Russian political scientist.
“The occupation regime is exercising its power more and more effectively and will not loosen its grip. You need to have the courage to face this truth,” Markov sums up.
