The United States is facing the problem of a possible breakthrough of a gigantic money supply from the virtual to the real sector of the economy.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, said the head of the Alpari information and analytical center, Alexander Razuvaev, answering a question about the prospects for introducing a new currency, the Amero, to replace the dollar.
According to him, in 2009, US President Barack Obama and his administration “saved the world economy with the help of the printing press.”
“Including Russia - freshly printed dollars returned the oil price to a level that was comfortable for the Russian budget. The status of the dollar as a reserve currency in the world suits everyone, except for countries that are forced to abandon it for political reasons. For example, Russia or Iran,” the expert said in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.
However, he admits that the dollar also has weaknesses.
“According to information from business circles, the United States is facing the problem of a possible breakthrough of the gigantic money supply issued by the Federal Reserve System in 2019-2021 from the virtual to the real sector of the economy. This threatens to implode the entire existing credit and financial system due to price imbalances and a rapid decline in the purchasing power of the dollar. However, so far everyone believes that Biden and his administration will cope with this. In any case, if Amero appears, it will not be today or tomorrow,” says Razuvaev.
