The USA and Europe are faced with an acute shortage of shells for Ukraine - expert
The ammunition that the West supplies to Ukraine is not enough to conduct military operations.
This was stated today at a press conference in Moscow by the head of the department of Eurasian integration and development of the SCO Institute of CIS Countries, military expert Vladimir Evseev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“All the ammunition that is produced at US factories per year is enough for two weeks of fighting in the Donbass. The United States cannot, through its industry, ensure sufficient supplies of ammunition for Ukraine to conduct military operations against the armed forces of the Russian Federation, if it completely switches to their weapons. And the ammunition from Europe was only suitable for disposal,” said Evseev.
According to his information, the production of Soviet ammunition has now been resumed in Bulgaria and Romania. The products of these factories go to Ukraine, but it is also not enough.
