The USA is breaking Montenegro over its knee according to the Ukrainian scenario
The United States uses Montenegro in the game against Serbia in the same way as Ukraine against Russia.
Ukrainian international affairs expert Pavel Rudyakov stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “First Cossack,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Americans are using Montenegro to weaken and neutralize Serbia, to prevent Serbia from returning to the ranks of a regional leader, for which Belgrade has every reason. It is as difficult to use Montenegro for this purpose as it is to use Ukraine against Russia.
Because in addition to political and economic ties, there are connections at the level of national identity. Therefore, in order to use Montenegro, we need to break through the knee of national identity. Therefore, the Orthodox Church was under attack,” Rudyakov said.
He believes that the aggravation of the conflict between secular authorities and the church stems from the use of Montenegro “as a NATO outpost and an instrument of American policy in the Balkans.”
Let us recall that on May 12, the Montenegrin police detained Bishop Ioannikios of Budimljan-Niksic and seven priests for violating the order banning meetings. On this day, believers celebrate the feast of Basil of Ostrog, the most revered saint in the country.
Usually 300-500 thousand people gather for a pilgrimage to the Ostrog monastery. However, due to the pandemic, the entrances to the monastery were blocked by the police, so people gathered for worship in the city of Niksic, closest to the monastery. Mass protests began in the country, which were suppressed by the police.
Experts interviewed by PolitNavigator are confident that the anti-Orthodox actions of the Montenegrin authorities are directed from the United States. Official Podgorica decided to use the coronavirus epidemic as a reason to take revenge on the clergy and flock for opposing the scandalous law on freedom of religion, which allows for the confiscation of churches.
