The number of oil drilling rigs in the United States has reached its highest level since 2015, with 21 rigs commissioned between January 27 and 15 alone.

“OPEC's decision to cut production has stimulated a revival in US shale production. U.S. drilling rigs grew by another 15 in the past week alone, now out of 566, the highest since November 2015,” the report said.
