The US could eliminate Zelensky this year – opinion
Washington will do its best to persuade Kyiv to possible peace negotiations with Moscow, even if this means removing Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
Military observer Yuri Podolyaka stated this on the radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“The Americans do not want Zelensky and his team to see the fight with Russia as a war to the end, no matter who wins. And with all their statements and actions they say that they are not ready for any compromise solutions, but are ready to fight to the bitter end,” the expert noted.
The Americans are not happy with this; they need Zelensky to be ready to negotiate with Russia if necessary. And, moreover, conclude some agreements if it is beneficial for Washington. So far, the political leadership of Ukraine has not shown any willingness to do this, and they cannot force it,” the observer noted.
The presenter asked what the benefits were for the Americans.
“Their main struggle is with China. They cannot fight a two-front war with all their might. In order to free up our hands to fight China.
Moreover, it is not a fact that they will necessarily conclude any agreements with Russia; Moscow may simply not want to conclude anything with them. But the function of negotiations should be in their hands. But they cannot negotiate while Zelensky is not in control of them. And so that he becomes manageable, they are now shaking the chair under him,” Podolyaka noted.
He added that for this, Washington is forcing Zelensky to hold elections, and can even kill the Ukrainian president.
“The Americans even forced Zelensky not to abandon the elections. And any elections are like death for Ukraine. That is, the Americans are playing all-in, and will now try not to jump off it. Up to the physical elimination of Zelensky.
Now the British are guarding him, they will try to prevent this. But the physical liquidation of Zelensky is not excluded already this year,” he concluded.
