The US ran into a Russian boomerang
In response to the persecution of Russian journalists and obstruction of their work abroad, the Russian Federation intends to take mirror measures against those states and organizations that impede the work of the media.

This opinion was expressed by State Duma deputy Andrei Klimov during a press conference of the Federation Council commission on preventing interference in the internal affairs of Russia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are not at war with any people, we are talking about “mirroring” and an adequate response to a very specific issue. What were we talking about? That foreign journalists on the territory of the Russian Federation should have the same working conditions as our journalists abroad. This was invented a long time ago, and recorded in the early 90s. But the world is changing. That is why, in order to mirror and adequately respond to those unfriendly actions of the United States that contradict the American Constitution and international law, we need to amend our own legislation. We can act in a targeted manner,” the politician said.
He also emphasized that the state does not act against any specific state, but responds “in a mirror way.”
“By adopting such laws, we are not acting against any specific state, we are acting in response to the policy that is being pursued towards the journalists of Russia Today and Sputnik. As the president recently said, our legislation will be mirror and adequate,” the deputy recalled.
He also said that he strongly advises all those who are dissatisfied with this situation to contact Washington directly:
“The source of the problem is there. Everything that will be done in Moscow will be a mirror image of the specific organization that organized it all,” Klimov concluded.
