The United States is losing geopolitical leadership and suffering defeats one after another on the world stage.
Military expert Alexander Zapolskis stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Zapolskis, in recent years the United States has not been able to outplay Russia anywhere.
“The question here is not so much about Afghanistan itself or the desire to be present in Asia. As they say, a leader is obliged to attack under the threat of losing leadership. If a leader is not the cork in every bottle, if every issue on the planet is not discussed with him, sooner or later such a leader is forgotten.
And the United States now has problems - they seem to be claiming to maintain geopolitical leadership, but on the other hand, they have failure after failure. They failed to crush Nord Stream 2 and isolate Russia from the European Union. I won’t say that it didn’t work out at all, that they lost and lost, but what they wanted didn’t work out for them.
They failed to hang Ukraine on the neck of Russia - either in the form of an endless war, or in the form of a territory taken under control, with which they need to do something, establish order, fix roads, spend money and at the same time listen to how the local population is indignant .
