The US will not stop arming Ukraine as long as the Russian army allows it – Kedmi
The United States will not refuse to support Ukraine and will continue to finance it until the Russian army puts an end to this issue.
The former head of the Nativ intelligence service, military expert Yakov Kedmi, stated this in an interview with Israeli journalist Alexander Waldman, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kedmi, there is no need to talk about “draining” Ukraine - there is enough money in the United States for both its own and the Ukrainian defense budgets.
“If it’s necessary, they’ll add a budget, what’s the matter? What, the printing press isn't working? Works. If by then there is no catastrophe in the American economy, they will add, this is the United States. American military products are the military budget. The production of types of products, types of weapons requires orders, the Ministry of Defense can place an order if it has a budget. Without an order, companies do not produce weapons, and they need orders for several years, otherwise the company will not do anything, it is private.
Therefore, there must be a budget set up to place an appropriate order for what they need. And with Ukraine - if necessary, they will find money later. But if the production and development of weapons are not budgeted for now, they will not exist, this is how the military-industrial complex of the United States is structured. I would not make far-reaching conclusions that the Americans will write off Ukraine - they will not write it off. Only the Russian army can write off Ukraine, no one else. And until she writes it off, they will finance it in America, and they will finance it in Europe,” Kedmi said.
