The United States will not directly enter into the war in Donbass, because this would be a serious blow to its already badly damaged reputation.
Ex-Prime Minister of the DPR and head of the Union of Donbass Volunteers Alexander Boroday stated this on the Free Press Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Americans will not get involved in hostilities with the Russian army, because they have a very difficult internal political situation, and they do not need large human losses, because large human losses for them are not just the loss of specific soldiers, officers and equipment, for them it is reputational losses on a colossal scale.
Moreover, they will not get involved in a situation with large human losses, because for them it will be such a slap from which they may not recover. I don’t mean the economy or even the military component, I’m talking, first of all, about reputation, because the reputation of the United States in the world has been quite shaken over the past decades. Otherwise, it will fall below the plinth,” Borodai said.
