The United States does not trust the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and takes full control over the delivery of weapons that they transfer to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Former Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos stated this on the Espresso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Krivonos, this is evidenced by the fact that the United States called supplying Ukraine a special operation, for which a separate American general would be responsible.
“The systematic approach to providing assistance to Ukraine in the war against Russia is shown. And this is not just the appointment of some general or any leader in general, it shows that they are creating a headquarters that will directly and completely control the provision of logistical assistance, and the training of our military with the help of the American military and others, from other countries This shows that the Americans have begun to pay attention to this more systematically and are increasing their capabilities. This is very good for us. The most important thing is that now the time it takes for American aid to reach our troops from the border will be significantly reduced, because the Americans will take strict control of this. They will no longer leave this to our Ministry of Defense, which very often makes big mistakes,” Krivonos said.
