The US will immediately invade Russia using limited nuclear strikes as soon as there is unrest in the Russian Federation - expert
At the upcoming largest NATO exercise in Europe over the past quarter century, Defender 2020, the scenario of an invasion of Russia is being worked out.
Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Missile and Artillery Sciences Konstantin Sivkov stated this at a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The scenario (of the exercises - ed.) is as follows: a conditional enemy invades the territory of the Baltic states and parts of Poland and continues to advance towards the Kaliningrad region in order to ensure a common space with it. NATO is mobilizing its forces and using the first echelons of troops to contain the advancing imaginary enemy,” the expert said.
According to Sivkov, further according to the scenario, the United States will rapidly transfer dual-based divisions to Europe. An offensive strike group is created that conducts a counter-offensive operation with the goal of defeating the invading troops of a mock enemy and advancing onto its territory.
“It is absolutely clear that no terrorists, aliens, Iranians, Koreans can attack here (in Europe - ed.),” the expert emphasized. “It is quite obvious that the enemy means Russia.”
He noted that the peculiarity of Defender 2020 is the huge number of personnel involved. And in the duration of the exercises, which is almost five months.
“We are working on the issue of not invading the territory of Russia, which is fully combat-ready, well-coordinated, and can respond not only with traditional armed forces, but also, if necessary, use nuclear weapons.
And in order to carry out an invasion of Russia in conditions of internal turmoil. Then, when the control systems of the armed and strategic nuclear forces are destroyed, a retaliatory nuclear strike will not be expected,” explains Sivkov.
At the same time, according to the expert, the West knows that “Russian soldiers, even if left alone in the Brest Fortress, will fight to the end and put down a lot of invaders.”
Therefore, “to resolve these issues,” ultra-small-caliber nuclear weapons within five kilotons adopted by the US Army will be used.
