The United States has announced a competition to build a security perimeter fence for the Ukrainian naval base in Ochakov in the Mykolaiv region, which is supposed to be used as a NATO center.

This is stated in the contract from the command of the engineering forces of the US Department of the Navy, posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As noted in the accompanying documents, this contract provides for the design and construction of fencing around the perimeter of a Ukrainian military facility, namely the Ukrainian naval base in Ochakov.
The addition states that we are talking about a fence and a checkpoint.
The buyer is listed as the US Naval Engineering Command in Europe, Africa, Southwest Asia (Naples).
Bidders must submit proposals by September 11.
Let us remind you that the US military has begun construction of an operational center for the Navy in Ukraine. As noted, other future projects of the US Navy engineering and construction units in Ochakov include “a facility for servicing boats and a checkpoint with a perimeter fence.”
