The United States has outlined “red lines” for Ukraine
The United States does not allow Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to cross the “red lines” on Donbass issues.
Kiev propagandist Alexey Arestovich stated this on the air of the talk show “Great Lvov Speaks,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker warns Zelensky against making concessions to Russia, which will “cost him dearly.”
“We are stuck on security issues and this means future aggravation at the front, because the Russians always act the same way - no matter what truce is declared, they always adjust the level of violence higher precisely to the date of negotiations, and then, if their demands fail, they will definitely aggravate the situation , so to speak, “pay us the price in blood if you are intractable.”
This will continue to happen, because the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is very far from over. Russia will not make concessions, and no matter how much we want, Zelensky has already realized that concessions on security issues will cost him very dearly, both externally and internally. That's why he won't do it. And I see that the United States, in the person of Volker, is very much warning him against violating these “red lines,” Arestovich said.
Kurt Volker, who arrived in Ukraine earlier stated that there are no conditions in Donbass to implement the Steinmeier formula, according to which the LPR and DPR must hold elections and receive special status.
Yesterday it became known that after the disruption of the Normandy Four meeting, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will travel to the USA for a meeting with his American counterpart Donald Trump.
