The US is desperate to bring the “Russian Poroshenko” to power
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will be elected for a second term because it is beneficial to the United States.
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
“No one will ever remove Poroshenko. As soon as an anti-American president appears at the head of any country, he is killed. Therefore, you can rest assured: Poroshenko is a very convenient president for the United States. They will help him in every possible way. He will win the elections, Ukraine will be given even more money,” Zhirinovsky said.
At the same time, the Russian politician believes that the main task for the Ukrainian president, which will be set by the United States, will be the aggravation of the situation in Donbass.
“There will be a constant source of tension. All forces are thrown against Russia to bring the Russian Poroshenko to power. But this will not work, because, unfortunately, military operations will be carried out in Ukraine. It doesn’t matter who starts,” Zhirinovsky said.
