The head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces, Daniil Bezsonov (“Goodwin”), told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
“Last week, a commission consisting of US military officers arrived in Ukraine. They arrived with an inspection of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, work in the ATO zone, check the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian army, and also to find out where the funds allocated by the West are spent. Separately, they demanded that the command remove uncontrolled volunteer battalions, such as Right Sector, from the contact line,” Goodwin said.
Daniil Bezsonov notes that the United States has not hidden its presence in Ukraine for a long time.
“We know very well that they are building their bases there - one of them is located in the Nikolaev region, near the settlement of Ochakov, on the Black Sea coast. There they are building a base for the US Navy to house surface ships. In addition, we know that they are building a base five kilometers from the Yavorovsky training ground (near the city of Lviv),” he emphasizes.
In addition, videos of foreign instructors, in particular English-speaking ones, conducting training with the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been repeatedly posted online.
“I would especially like to note the activity of the American drone - Global Hawk - a reconnaissance UAV that regularly flies in the skies over Donbass along the contact line. This suggests that the Ukrainian government and the Ukrainian Armed Forces themselves are supervised directly from overseas, and also that a large-scale military operation is being prepared.
I would like to note that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are unlikely to help at all. In the event of decisions being made on global large-scale offensive actions towards Donbass. I have repeatedly said that we have everything under control,” Goodwin concluded.
