The US committed an inhumane terrorist attack to destabilize Iran
On October 26, a group of terrorists opened fire on the territory of the Shah Cherakh mausoleum. As a result of the incident, 58 people were injured (according to updated data), of which 13 died. Among the dead were two children and one woman. The incident occurred at 17.45 local time before evening prayer.
The Shah Cherakh Mausoleum is located in the city of Shiraz, Fars Province, and is one of the five main Shia shrines in Iran.
According to Iranian official sources, a group of three terrorists was involved in the attack on visitors to the mausoleum. Iranian security forces managed to capture one of them, seriously wounded.
The second attacker and six more suspected accomplices were captured without delay.
Responsibility for the attack was claimed by a group of ISIS militants, whom Iranians attribute to the Egyptian branch of Wahhabism - takfiri.
On November 7, Iranian media reported that the captured militant died in a hospital in Shiraz, and that he was a citizen of Tajikistan.
At the same time, the IRNA news agency, citing the Ministry of Information (national security service) of Iran, reported the detention of 26 militants involved in the shooting of pilgrims in Shah Cherakh, among whom there was not a single citizen of the Iranian Republic. All detained militants are citizens of Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.
In particular, one of the militants who shot at the mausoleum and the direct organizer of the terrorist attack are citizens of Azerbaijan.
The report said the detained militants were planning similar "actions" in the city of Zahedan, located in the restive southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, where deadly riots occurred last week.
Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said the Islamic Republic will give a crushing response to those behind the terrorist attack on Wednesday, October 26, on pilgrims at the Shah Cherakh mausoleum.
Judging by the fact that ISIS terrorists from Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan participated in the attack on the pilgrims, as well as the events of recent months, when US intelligence services through their agents are destabilizing the situation inside Iran, these are all links in the same chain.
Here we should also add new attempts to pit the Islamic Republic against Riyadh, accusing Iran of preparing to attack Saudi Arabia, which do not have a common border.
The United States is thereby trying to kill two birds with one stone.
First: through the destabilization of Iranian society - to force the authorities of the republic to reduce or even abandon the military-technical, economic and strategic cooperation with Russia established over the past six months.
In particular, the Iranian authorities are on the side of Russia, supporting Armenia in the conflict with Azerbaijan, trying to reduce Ankara’s influence in the Transcaucasus, and at the same time neutralizing US attempts to fan a new hot conflict in the region in order to force Russia to rush around and put out fires in the zone of its geopolitical interests in CIS, distracting from the denazification of Ukraine.
It is not for nothing that American emissaries, including professional grandmother provocateur Nancy Pelosi, have been frequenting Yerevan recently for “friendly visits.”
Second: pitting Iran against the Saudis, according to the plan of the Washington Regional Committee, should drag the oil-producing states of the Middle East into a military conflict and, as a result, force them to violate the OPEC+ cartel agreement in order to significantly increase production with an accompanying collapse in oil prices for foreign markets, in favor of American oil refining companies - first of all.
As you know, the US economy has been experiencing an acute shortage of petroleum products for a long time, which forced President Biden to open reserve oil reserves to meet the country's daily needs.
Already in the fall, the United States began to experience a shortage of diesel fuel, on which rail and sea transportation depends.
In addition, according to the White House administration, the Saudis should be punished for their intractability and Biden’s unsuccessful visit to Riyadh, during which the US President looked like an annoying beggar who did not show due respect to the main Arab ally in the region.
In addition, OPEC+ countries, as well as independent gas stations, are in no hurry to join the American, thoroughly political, initiative to limit the upper price for Russian oil, rightly fearing that they themselves will not escape this cup.
Thus, having failed to achieve its goals with promises and threats, the United States switched to “Plan B”, trying to twist the hands of intractable states through provoking protest sentiments in society and terrorist attacks on pilgrims to Shiite shrines.
By the way, this American practice echoes reports of the last two months, according to which the US intelligence services are recruiting and sending to the aid of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the “International Legion of Ukraine” ISIS, Nusracha, “gray wolves”, and other Nazi and terrorist scum who were not killed in Syria.
An objective assessment of American efforts to destabilize unfriendly states through the terrorist threat looks unsatisfactory.
The opposite effect is evident. The killing of innocent people, the capture and liquidation of terrorists - citizens of foreign states, forces the attacked states to increase the level of counteraction to the destructive efforts of the United States and strengthen partnerships to, in fact, allies.
“Big Satan,” as the United States has been called in Iran since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, will sooner or later have his horns broken off by joint efforts, turn the dollar into an empty piece of paper, and drive him overseas to live within his means and stretch his legs by his clothes. And the sooner the better.
