The United States has set Naftogaz the task of completely blocking Russian transit
The only beneficiary of the termination of the transit of Russian gas through the Ukrainian gas transportation system is the United States. In this case, they get a market of consumers who now receive Russian gas.
First of all, we are talking about the Balkan countries, which are 100% dependent on Russian supplies.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Kobolev, the head of Naftogaz, is conducting business in such a way that there will be no agreement between Gazprom and Naftogaz.
In any case, if he makes decisions from Ukraine, then there will be no agreement...
If at all this pipe rusts and does not work, then there is only one entity that benefits from this - the Americans. Because in this case, if there is no transit and there is a gas shortage in Europe, European countries and, above all, the Balkans will suffer from this.
They are 100% dependent on Gazprom supplies. They have problems with shipping from other parties. If there is a shortage, a higher price for gas will appear and, accordingly, liquefied gas, which the Americans are promoting to the European market, will become more profitable.
And this is so obviously being carried out as a priority task for Kobolev and the company,” Pogrebinsky concludes.
Let us recall that earlier the ex-host of the Kyiv Anti-Maidan, journalist Yuriy Kot said that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is not able to agree with Russia on the transit of gas through its territory, since this is not beneficial to himself and the American curators.
