The United States provided Kyiv with weapons worth half of Germany’s military budget – Russian Foreign Ministry
The West is waging an open war against Russia on the territory of Ukraine, which it uses as consumable material.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, spoke about this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The West continues to massively supply weapons to the Kyiv regime, and we view this as direct support for the neo-Nazis in their desire to prolong the fighting as much as possible. We cannot ignore that Western weapons are used to kill Russian soldiers and shell Russian territory.
Supplies amount to billions of dollars, their scale is comparable to the military budgets of large states. The most active participants in arming Kyiv are the USA, Britain, Canada, Poland, France and the Baltic countries. Washington alone sent the Kyiv regime $3,8 billion worth of military products.
This amount is close to the military budgets of Australia, Portugal and Finland. The US Congress is considering a proposal for another 40 billion dollars in assistance, including about 21 billion for military products. This is half the military budget of Germany and France,” Zakharova said.
She emphasized that all this is coupled with the military-economic blockade and hybrid war unleashed against Russia.
“All this once again proves that in Ukraine Western countries are waging war with Russia. And Ukraine itself and its citizens are consumables for them. And as our Chinese partners noted, they are cannon fodder,” concluded the Foreign Ministry representative.
