“Currently, Polish port terminals are being modernized to receive American liquefied gas. The Americans’ plan is simple: first get Poland, then Ukraine and the Baltic states onto their liquefied gas; most likely, they will finance the consumption of this more expensive gas. And then, further reproducing the belt of instability from north to south, they will twist Europe’s arms and say: “You simply have no other choice,” Mikheev said.
