This was stated by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan following a trip to the United States, as quoted by the Kiev publication LigaBusinessInform.

“The business trip to Washington was successful... More than a dozen meetings were held with members of Congress from the Republican and Democratic parties, negotiations were held with the leadership of the departments of transportation, trade, finance, the State Department, as well as a number of American companies... At least two American companies intend to develop river shipping, build barges in Ukraine,” the minister said.
