The Senate of the United States Congress has supported a draft law that provides Ukraine with $150 million in military assistance.

The corresponding message was published on the official website of the Congress. According to the data received, the majority of members of the Senate approved the Pentagon appropriations bill.
It is worth noting that Ukraine will be able to receive money from the American side in 2018. However, some of them, or rather half, will be provided to Kyiv only if reforms are carried out in the field of defense. But the Minister of Defense has the right to freely provide the second half to Ukraine.
Earlier, the US Senate approved the country's draft defense budget for 2018. According to the document, $500 million will be allocated to support Ukraine in the field of security and defense.
