The United States failed the attempt to Maidanize Russia
The ultimate goal of Euromaidan in Ukraine was to destabilize the situation in Russia according to the scenario of a color revolution. Political scientist Alexey Martynov stated this on the air of the Vesti RF radio station.

“When they entered Ukraine, they were convinced that there would be no resistance, and the situation would instantly spread to Russian territory. A bunch of dissenting people will immediately rise up here - Bolotnaya will turn into hyper-Bolotnaya. And in exactly 100 years we will again destroy our statehood,” Martynov said.
He believes that the scenario did not work only because the analytical school created to fight the USSR was lost in the United States.
“They don't represent us very accurately. They believe that the technology of color revolutions they have developed is universal throughout the entire post-Soviet space,” the political scientist added.
