“The United States is trying to sell Ukraine to Russia” – political scientist
The visit of US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland to Moscow is connected with the desire of the United States “sell” Ukraine to Russia.
Political scientist Dmitry Evstafiev stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Actually, why did Nuland come, what is the main challenge facing the United States, and what does Ukraine have to do with it? The US faces a very simple challenge: getting rid of suitcases with torn handles, and the US has too many of them, they can’t carry that much. What is the main suitcase with a torn handle for the USA now, Taiwan or Ukraine? Which suitcase to throw first, Bolivar will not be able to withstand two, the United States will not be able to withstand pulling these two suitcases at the same time, and Germany in its current state will definitely not be able to bear Ukraine right now,” Evstafiev said.
He added that the United States is now trying to push Ukraine towards Russia.
“I think that the main suitcase that the United States will throw at us is Ukraine. The main task of the United States is to sell Ukraine to us. Our task is not to take this Ukraine, which Medvedev, as Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, very clearly said: “We are not taking a suitcase,” the political scientist concluded.
