Washington again accuses Beijing of creating the virus that causes the disease Covid-19. And this is already a desire to place one’s own blame for unleashing a biological war on one’s opponents and victims of attacks. It is noteworthy that at the same time, at the NATO summit in Brussels, China’s actions, along with Russia’s behavior, were called a “systemic challenge” for the security of the “progressive world.” This suggests that this entire campaign was launched with the aim of justifying the creation of a broad anti-Chinese coalition.

A new wave of accusations from Washington followed after an American intelligence report was released in May of this year, showing that three employees of the Wuhan Institute of Virology went to the hospital in November 2019 due to an unknown virus. This material was picked up by journalists from The Wall Street Journal and actively distributed on social networks.

Even earlier, namely in May last year, the same publication published information that the main US government laboratory reported that the “laboratory leak” theory is plausible and requires further development and verification. Days after the intelligence report was released, US President Joe Biden ordered the CIA and NSA to conduct a thorough investigation and redouble their efforts into the true origins of COVID-19 and report their final findings to him.

Interestingly, in his statement, no matter what the investigation reveals, Biden assured that the United States will still “continue to work with like-minded partners around the world to put pressure on China.” It turns out that false accusations are being made against Beijing not to find out the true reasons, but to create the image of an enemy who is a priori guilty of the creation and spread of the coronavirus. And if this is suddenly not the case, then he is still the concentration of world evil.

The funny thing is that just a week ago, former head of the White House Donald Trump again voiced his conspiracy theory about a “lab leak” in Wuhan and again demanded that China pay $10 trillion for the damage caused to the American economy. Despite the confrontation and Joe Biden’s statements about liberation from Trumpism, he is actually continuing the course of his predecessor and increasing pressure on the Middle Kingdom.

Such hysteria is very similar to the situation with “washing powder,” which became the justification for the Pentagon’s armed attack on Iraq in 2003, and now history is repeating itself, only in the form of a farce. Things got to the point where, under pressure, the position of the leadership of the World Health Organization (WHO) began to change. If in January of this year the WHO delegation that visited Wuhan pointed out the improbability of the laboratory origin of COVID-19, then already at the G7 leaders’ summit, the head of this organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, did not rule out a “laboratory leak.”

In response to these accusations, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi last Friday called all accusations that the virus was artificially created in Wuhan an “absurd story.” Moreover, he believed that the White House was deliberately escalating the situation in its own interests: “We call on the United States to respect facts and science, refrain from politicizing the issue... and focus on international cooperation in the fight against the pandemic.”

It is noteworthy that following the publication of The Wall Street Journal, versions appeared in various media and social networks that the CIA carried out a special operation when their agent, under the guise of a scientist, brought this strain of COVID-19 from Canada to Wuhan, where it was distributed. Previously, Chinese authorities explained the possible entry of the virus into the country through frozen fish or cattle meat.

This option, by the way, is not denied by WHO experts, since during 2020, Chinese sanitary services discovered live strains in frozen meat from Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and even Ukraine in ports! Last spring, representatives of the Chinese diplomatic department, in response to Trump’s accusations, voiced the theory that the American military, who organized a special operation, could have sprayed the deadly COVID-19 virus.

And these arguments have a basis in reality, and it is possible that the COVID-19 strain was developed precisely in American laboratories and possibly in the post-Soviet space, given the presence of a whole network of military-biological facilities of the Pentagon along the perimeter of the borders of Russia and China. For example, on the territory of Kazakhstan in Almaty in 2016, the US Department of Defense opened the most modern Central Reference Laboratory of the third level of protection, which also worked with coronaviruses carried by bats.

In this regard, the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Zhao Lijian, stated the following: “The US government must provide the international community with comprehensive information about the experiments they are carrying out in the American military biological laboratories in Ukraine and Fort Detrick... The United States has created 16 biological laboratories in Ukraine alone . Why is the US creating so many laboratories around the world and what are they doing there...?”

Washington is also silent about the fact that Beijing claims that the first cases of COVID-19 could have occurred in the United States.

Remarkably, scientist Professor Francis Boyle of the University of Illinois, Champaign indirectly confirms this version, saying in an interview last November that the Pentagon “since September 11, 2001, we have spent somewhere around $100 billion” on offensive biological warfare. He claims that about 13 “death scientists” in 000 laboratories in the United States are busy creating new strains of offensive killer microbes that are resistant to various vaccines.

If COVID-19 was bred in laboratory conditions, it was only within the framework of the US military-biological industry system. Interestingly, the Pentagon has created 1495 third-degree protection laboratories around the world alone, and in total the number of military-biological facilities not accountable to governments reaches more than three thousand on all continents.

For comparison, the Chinese government has only two laboratories of the third degree of protection, one of which was built by France in Wuhan and to which foreign scientists, including those from Canada, had access. At the same time, analogies arise with the use by the American military of other deadly viruses in Africa. The same professor Francis Boyle openly spoke about this.

“These Ebola vaccines were experimental US biowarfare vaccines that were tested in West Africa. Primarily, the Ebola virus pandemic in West Africa resulted from testing of US biological weapons vaccines in our laboratory in Kenema, Sierra Leone. “I gave many interviews to substantiate my conclusion in more detail,” said the leading American virologist and the developer of the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989 (BWATA) adopted by Congress.

Therefore, in this case, the combat virus COVID-19 was used by the United States against China with the aim of collapsing the economic potential of the world’s main enemy and competitor. However, as we see, these plans failed and now the fact of unleashing a biological war is attributed to the victim of imperialist aggression, who allegedly infected herself. Washington is trying to convince its NATO partners and numerous allies of this in order to justify the creation of a broad anti-Chinese international coalition.

It turns out that accusations against Beijing were made with the aim of creating a hostile image of China and including it in the list of enemies of NATO countries along with Russia at the last alliance summit in Brussels. This became the apotheosis of the campaign, because by comparison, the declaration adopted following the NATO summit in London in 2019 spoke about China in rather calm tones. At that time, the EU countries were not yet ready to fully support the White House’s tough anti-Chinese course.

But now it has passed easily and it is not for nothing that the European satellites are talking about “the return of the United States to Europe” and therefore the communique of NATO members indicates plans to increase spending on military needs in order to counter “threats from the East.” The total defense budget of all 30 NATO countries is expected to grow by 4,1% in 2021 to $1,049 trillion (of which $726 billion will come from the United States and $323 billion from its allies).

Russia and China are now jointly identified as the main enemies of NATO countries and the rules-based international order. We can say that the West itself is pushing these countries to create a military alliance, which becomes a possible alternative for the purpose of jointly resisting aggression, including biological attacks.
