The US has expanded sanctions against Russian business - a blow to banks, builders and media
Today, the US Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control released an expanded list of individuals and businesses subject to sanctions in connection with the military conflict in Ukraine.

Thus, a number of companies and 17 individuals were subject to sanctions.
The list of companies included banks, including Rossiya Bank and Credit Ural Bank, one of the contractors for the construction of the Kerch Bridge, the Mostotrest company, and some structural divisions of Gazprom, including Gazprom Media.
The SGM-Most company, which was also included in the list, is the general contractor for the construction of the Kerch Bridge and a subsidiary of Arkady Rotenberg’s company Stroygazmontazh.
The sanctions list includes Speaker of the DPR Ministry of Defense Eduard Basurin, Crimean ministers Anna Anyukhina, Inna Kiviko and other persons.
