“They are cutting the budget for peacekeeping operations, but there is a separate budget for overseas operations. That's almost $90 billion in aid to allies, special forces operations. These are the costs of the wars in Syria, assistance to the Ukrainian army, and so on,” Losev said.

In addition, he noted, the US national security strategy includes preparations for energy wars.

“What is happening in the Middle East, there is still something very unpleasant ahead. They will try to blame us for chemical attacks and attempts to create new chaos. There are renewed claims that Trump must go. This will lead to the spread of conflicts,” the expert warned.
