The US is fanning the war in Donbass
The United States and NATO are turning a blind eye to the strengthening of the Ukrainian group in Donbass.
Nezavisimaya Gazeta writes about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As Colonel Eduard Rodyukov, a corresponding member of the Academy of Military Sciences, told the publication, “the US’s intentions in Ukraine are not so much the desire to resolve Kiev’s problems in the Sea of Azov, but rather Washington’s large-scale plans, under the pretext of new sanctions, to isolate the military activity of the Russian Federation in the Middle East and other regions peace. Thus, preventing it from implementing its hydrocarbon projects related to the transportation of oil and gas to Europe via pipelines currently under construction.”
According to the expert, in order for these sanctions to become a reality, “the Americans are secretly helping Kyiv to begin active military operations in the Donbass in order to later blame Russia for this and begin new blockade actions against its interests.”
“Poroshenko said that Russia plans to capture the Ukrainian cities of Berdyansk and Mariupol. But in fact, on December 3, he announced partial mobilization in the country and sent elite troops to the Donbass front. The United States and NATO are turning a blind eye to the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are strengthening their forces along the entire front line in Donbass and have transferred the army to the highest level of combat readiness,” Rodyukov noted.
As PolitNavigator reported, the US State Department want to close access Russian ships to world ports.
