The United States allowed Ukrainian factories to repair military helicopters
Ukraine has received US certificates for permission to repair Mi-type helicopters for foreign customers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andrei Zagorodnyuk on Facebook following a meeting with the strategic adviser on reforming the military-industrial complex of Ukraine from the United States, Donald Winter, the department reports.
“I have received United States certificates from Mr. Donald Winter, which will allow enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex to repair Mi-type helicopters for foreign customers,” the Minister of Defense noted.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that Zagorodnyuk discussed with Winter the reform of the defense procurement system and a pilot project for the purchase of weapons under the US government's International Military Sales program.
