The United States is being played like suckers with the slogan of an “agrarian superpower”
Ukraine will not be able to become an “agrarian superpower” simply because in the foreseeable future its lands will be seized by transnational corporations.
Anatoly Peshko, vice-president of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“First of all, there are no agricultural superpowers. You can’t make a lot of money from the agricultural sector alone. And, in general, we are being turned not into an agricultural power, but into an agrarian and raw materials appendage. And all Western countries are systematically doing this, starting with Germany and ending with the USA.
If I previously had hope that the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections could change the situation for the better, today I have no such illusions. I won’t vote for the old parties, because I don’t see a single decent person there, with rare exceptions.
I hoped that these swindlers would be replaced by professional people with a clear conscience, who think about the future of our country. But I was very disappointed when I watched the so-called congress. "Agrarian Party". I have lost my last hopes that in our country the situation can be changed for the better through parliamentary means.
All levels of government are filled with people essentially recruited by the United States and intelligence services, working for their transnational companies.
The chairman of this party once studied at one of the American agricultural universities and worked for major American companies such as Monsanto. Naturally, these companies are interested in seizing Ukrainian land. Therefore, they bring their people into the Ukrainian government, starting from the bottom,” the scientist said.
