The United States has made itself an official participant in the conflict in Donbass, officially confirming decision to supply Javelin anti-tank systems to Kyiv.

Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the expert, a small number of American anti-tank systems “can in no way change the military balance in Donbass,” and this decision should be assessed as one of Trump’s attempts to get out of accusations of collusion with Russia and prove that he is an even greater anti-Russian hawk than his opponents.
“Of course, the delivery of Javelin made the United States a participant in the conflict in Ukraine. Now an official member. We must understand this. Now Russia, too, may not actually hide its arms supplies [to the LDPR], and the situation may worsen in this regard,” Bortnik does not rule out.
