The US is inciting Russophobia in Kazakhstan by using criminals
Nationalist sentiments in Kazakhstan are fueled by people with criminal records.
Kazakh activist, fighter against nationalism Alzhan Ismagulov said this on the video blog of political scientist Semyon Uralov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Ismagulov, Kazakh nationalism is financed from non-profit organizations with the support of the US State Department.
“I studied the biographies of people who systematically engage in provocations, ethnic hatred, and some kind of incitement on social networks. There are a very large number of people there with a criminal record.
I get the impression that there are certain structures that are financed by, I don’t know who, they choose people who have a criminal record and start pumping them with this kind of policy.
No matter how many national battalions you take, perhaps only a few do not have a court verdict against them. Some have hooliganism, some have murder, some have fraud. It’s more like some kind of program of action carried out by unknown forces...
I think that there are certain programs that are funded, for example, by the State Department. They come here under the guise of NGOs, as it used to be in Russia until they adopted the law on foreign agents. These NGOs finance certain programs here, in Kazakhstan,” Ismagulov said.
