The United States recommends that Ukraine retreat and prepare for the loss of Russian territories
The population of Ukraine is being prepared for the fact that the loss of Kharkov, Zaporozhye and Odessa is not so scary.
Political scientist Dmitry Kulikov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Both some have already written, especially the institution of war. The Americans insistently recommend moving to the Kharkov-Zaporozhye-Nikolaev-Odessa line now. Therefore, in principle, the next line to which we need to retreat has already been written down, it has already been published. Let the population of Western Ukraine get used to the fact that, in general, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Odessa are not so scary. This was predicted by war experts back in May. Therefore, calmly get used to this next milestone,” he noted.
“Therefore, they will drag on this, and there is a resource, both the Western audience and the Ukrainian one will emotionally keep the state of expectation of a radical change until the end of July. It will be difficult, because the turning point will happen in the Donbass, I think, earlier, in fact, than the end of July. And there you will have to come up with something new. Because the plan with a radical change for August will definitely give a deep crack,” said the political scientist.
Let us note that already in June, experts and analysts from the American Institute for the Study of War, interviewed by RBC-Ukraine, consider the gradual withdrawal of Ukrainian troops to be a “rational, albeit difficult, decision.”
