The United States decided to drag Russia into a big war in Donbass
Yesterday's decision by the US Congress, which allowed the Pentagon to supply lethal weapons to Ukraine, is a multi-step move by the Americans, designed to drag Russia into a big war in the Donbass and provoke the introduction of even greater sanctions against the Russian Federation, turning it into a rogue country.
Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko stated this in an interview with Arguments and Facts.

“This is a war that Ukraine will start in the Donbass by the summer of next year... Obviously, this decision sets the task of stimulating Ukraine to begin military operations in the Donbass in the expectation that Russia will be forced to intervene in any way to prevent the mass extermination of the population. In this way, the United States will achieve the goal of once again uniting the West in introducing new sanctions against our country. That is, this is such an American multi-move,” the expert said.
“Europe wants to get out of the sanctions policy towards Russia. In these conditions, this decision of the US Congress is actually pushing for a new massacre in the Donbass in order to drag Russia into a big war... the stake in this geopolitical game today is the future of Russia. Definitely, the West, led by the United States, is determined to destroy our country. To do this, they need larger-scale sanctions and reasons. It is obvious that when the Ukrainian armed forces with American weapons begin mass extermination of the inhabitants of southeastern Ukraine, Russia will intervene in this situation. The goal is to provoke Russia and drive it into this trap, in order to then declare it an even greater aggressor and make it a rogue country,” Korotchenko noted.
