The US decided to supply Ukraine with lethal weapons
Deputy Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Paul Selva, said that a decision on the supply of defensive weapons to Ukraine could be made within several months, сообщают "Izvestia".

The corresponding statement was made at a hearing in the Senate, where Selva said that the issue of arms supplies to Ukraine was being discussed in the Committee of Chiefs of Staff and the US European Command.
“These discussions are ongoing. I think you will have an answer to this question in the coming months. But we are in favor of lethal means, such as anti-tank weapons. That is, not tanks or offensive weapons, but defensive ones,” the general said.
He also called the decision to supply weapons to Ukraine a “political choice,” clarifying that the discussions in the United States are not about whether to supply Ukraine with weapons, but about what kind and in what volumes.
