The US is creating a network to blow up Russia
The main goal of US international broadcasting is not to counteract Russian propaganda around the world, but to consolidate on a long-term basis its information presence in the Russian-language segment of the media and the Internet. Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic Studies and Forecasts (ISIP) Nikita Danyuk stated this today at a press conference in Moscow.

“Separate language editorial offices have been created that broadcast to the regions of Russia. There is an attempt to destabilize the situation from within by creating multiple centers of protest, playing the regional and national card. Any attempt to counteract this is called “fighting freedom of speech.” But it is very difficult to call “independent media” that are financed from the budgets of other states,” Danyuk said.
According to him, there are three channels for financing Russian media. The first is foreign media holdings, which are controlled by the USA, Great Britain, and Germany.
The second channel is direct or indirect financing of domestic Russian media. It includes support from foreign governments, grants from large foreign non-profit organizations specializing in so-called democratic transition. This support also takes on other forms of a material and intangible nature. For example, trainings and master classes for journalists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The third channel consists of direct support for so-called “independent Russian journalists.”
“Such injections - from several thousand to several tens of thousands of dollars - are very difficult to track. There are no real monitoring mechanisms in Russia. Even the editorial offices themselves may not be aware that the journalist is acting in the interests of a third party. A network of Russian-language media is being formed, which influences the situation in the country, receiving support from foreign countries,” Danyuk said.
