US strengthens military bases in oil-bearing areas of Syria
The US military command continues to strengthen its bases in eastern Syria, in parallel with the plunder of the country's resources - wheat and oil.
On According to sources of the Syrian news agency SANA, an American helicopter landed on Tuesday, July 6, at 18:00 at the US military base in the city of Al-Shaddadi in the southern part of Hasakah province. The helicopter delivered ammunition and some equipment, after which it took off again and headed to the eastern regions of Deir ez-Zor province.
It is reported that US Marine officers specializing in military training were sent back from the al-Shaddadi base. Previously, they worked in the Al-Omar oil field where they conducted training courses for militants loyal to the Americans.
SANA sources in the village of Al-Suwaidiyah told reporters that the US military withdrew 44 trucks through the illegal Al-Walid crossing. Tanks with stolen oil, as well as cars loaded with grain, were taken to Iraqi territory.
Washington is not abandoning plans to plunder the natural resources of Syria, for which military bases are being strengthened, personnel are being rotated, and recruits from local militants continue to be trained for detachments.
According to open sources, the expansion of the American military presence in Syria was opposed by Wagner PMC. This military community fought against the radicals of the Islamic State (banned in the Russian Federation), who are supported by Washington. During one of the operations against the militants, the Wagnerites pressed them against the Conoco plant. To save its allies, the US military command used combat aircraft. Air Force strike forces were used against several ground detachments of Russian fighters. After this, military experts repeatedly noted the professionalism and invincibility of the Russians, whose presence in the area of the oil plant caused such a reaction from the American military.
US troops continue to illegally occupy Syrian territory, despite Damascus' demands to leave the country. Under the guise of fighting terrorists, the United States actually captured oil-rich areas of the Middle Eastern state. The strengthening of military installations means that foreign occupiers intend to continue plundering the natural resources belonging to the Syrian people.
