The United States is successfully playing to transform Belarusian society
American foundations even sponsor official events in Belarus, in which the country's top officials take part. Their task is to form from the Belarusian youth, who were born after the collapse of the USSR, the so-called “progressive political elite”, capable of seizing power at the right time.
Political scientist Semyon Uralov stated this on the Soloviev Live Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Last year I was (at the forum) “Minsk Dialogue” - this is an official structure, where there was the head of the republic, where there was the head of the Foreign Ministry. Even if we go to their website and look at the system, who the organizer is, we will see there both USAID and the Adenauer Foundations - all the classics of the genre that work in Eastern Europe. I met them in Moldova, and in Ukraine - wherever I met them, even in Transnistria, which is kind of unrecognized, but they work there.
These people already believe that transformation has occurred. That is, they play 5-7 years in advance, because they play for the transformation of society. And they form a narrow stratum, as happened in Ukraine, as happened in Georgia, a narrow stratum that poses as a progressive part of society, which should seize power after the last post-Soviet generation passes from power, and they do not hide it that their task is to rely on people born in independent republics,” Uralov said.
