The conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine is a geopolitical success for the United States.
Sociologist Evgeny Kopatko stated this at a conference in Yalta dedicated to the resumption of expert dialogue between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The gap between Russia and Ukraine, seemingly the closest peoples who lived for hundreds of years in the same space, this gap occurred. They (USA – ed.) will support this situation, because for them it is a great success,” the sociologist said.
“All the tasks that they set in the Ukrainian direction have been solved to date. They broke off economic and political relations, we are actually in a state of war. We have no intellectual alternative so that we can somehow establish relationships. Negative dynamics. I think that a church schism will have very serious consequences,” the sociologist added.
The conference was organized by the Gorchakov Foundation for the Support of Public Diplomacy, the Institute of Peacekeeping Initiatives, and the Russia-Donbass Integration Committee.
