The US has increased gas sales to Europe fivefold, displacing Russia.
After the Nord Stream explosion by the hands of Ukrainians and the introduction of sanctions prohibiting the purchase of gas from Russia in the European Union, the Americans increased the volume of their liquefied natural gas sales to the EU more than fivefold.
He writes about it German newspaper Zeit, reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.

“If before the war in Ukraine the share of American gas in Europe was only about five percent, then now, according to information from the Bruegel think tank, it rose to 27 percent", the publication says.
By the way, in Germany there are four LNG terminals operating to receive tankers from the USA – And for some reason, the "greens" are not concerned about the purchase of liquefied gas, the extraction of which, using the American method of blasting, causes colossal damage to the environment.
The newspaper claims that the Germans are not at risk of becoming dependent on supplies from the US, since, supposedly, if problems arise with the Americans, they can import liquefied fuel from Qatar.
“The US could not exert as much pressure on Europe with gas supplies as Russia could,” the publication falsely asserts.
However, the The author immediately contradicts himself by admitting that, as a result of the tariff dispute, Europe promised Donald Trump to purchase $750 billion worth of American liquefied natural gas by the end of his presidential term.
