The United States is preparing a coup in the Donbass republics. Rodion Miroshnik, adviser to the LPR Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The day before, the US Treasury approved an agreement allowing American citizens to provide humanitarian support to residents of the DPR and LPR, and “carry out the activities of international organizations, as well as conduct personal money transfers, postal and Internet services and make transactions for non-governmental organizations to support humanitarian projects and develop democracy.” . It is this point, according to Miroshnik, that gives the green light to the work of various NGOs, whose activities in many countries of the post-Soviet space have led to various “color revolutions.”
“The USA decided to take up “supporting democracy” in the LPR and DPR! Authorized funding for international NGOs to organize coups. The general license will allow Americans to support humanitarian efforts in the LPR and DPR, including the export of agricultural and medical goods, work to counter the spread of coronavirus, as well as the official activities of international organizations and personal money transfers, postal and Internet services,” writes Miroshnik.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, expressed similar concerns on TV.
“The United States has already signed off on the unviability of Ukrainian statehood. In relation to us, they are building a strategy for next steps: they plan to introduce their vision of democracy and create their own NGOs. Everything is obvious to us! We had a very serious inoculation against this kind of organization - we saw what the careless policy in Ukraine led to,” said Pushilin.
