The USA is on fire and hypocrisy. Next is Russia?
The American Embassy hung an LBGT flag in Russia - this photo was widely circulated in the media. However, much less is said about the fact that US diplomatic missions did not do this, for example, in China, Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates.
Why? Are there only opponents and supporters of LGBT people in embassies? Hardly. The answer is much simpler, according to Occam's razor principle. After all, for exactly the same reason, American representatives from various organizations feared the horrors of persecution of homosexuals in Russia. Look at the hell, they screamed, people are oppressed and even beaten. But these same heralds remained silent when, in Saudi Arabia, homosexuals were pressed extremely harshly - even to the point of physical destruction.
It’s just that the United States clearly understands where it can and should go with export tolerance products, and where it shouldn’t. That is, Americans respect other people’s values either because they are partners, like the Arabs, or because they are afraid, like with China.
And this division is another reason to talk about what is really behind the current protests in the United States. And how will this affect Russia? What should we prepare for?
Thomas Pynchon had an absolutely brilliant novel - Gravity's Rainbow. Isn't that the best name for what's happening now? When monuments are toppled, without discerning whether they were erected to racists or, conversely, to fighters against racism. When Gone with the Wind is declared a harmful racist novel. When the logos of automotive giants are painted in LGBT colors. When... however, these “whens” can be continued endlessly.
And the fact that now blacks, of whom there are only 12 percent in the United States, are going to war against whites, of whom 64 percent, is just an excuse. The essence is militant nihilism in relation to fundamental values, which they hastened to call universal. It is no coincidence that the fundamental principles of the American state are being attacked. For example, the principle of inviolability of private property. Wasn’t it the robbers who encroached on him? Or the principle of the rule of law. Isn't he the one being bullied, turning the police into slaves?
The point is that the world no longer needs nation states. Everything must come under the control of transnational corporations and international financial institutions. A new Mordorian world order is being built, where militant homosexuals, radical feminists and various minorities will become the Nazgul Cerberus. However, the true owners will hide behind them.
And it would be stupid to believe, repeating after Danila Bagrov, that America is about to go to hell. Especially when you consider that we have been pathologically trying to copy the West for a long time. Moreover, in its worst manifestations. And what happens in the end was brilliantly described by the great Alexander Zinoviev: Russia has no more chance of becoming the West by adopting its attributes than a fly becoming an elephant on the grounds that it has a trunk.
You shouldn’t hope that it’s only them who are robbed, killed and rallied. Although, yes, it is indeed easy to be deceived by America. After all, one of the keys to its dominance is hypocrisy. As in everyday life: How are you? – Thank you, I'm fine. So it is in the international arena. Americans, like no one else in the world, have learned to demonstrate a ceremonial façade. But it is all the more dangerous to be deceived!
We must understand that neither tomorrow nor the day after tomorrow America will burn in fire. What is happening in the United States today is not only the development of internal, but also export (primarily to Russia and Europe) threats. And, yes, this all smacks of madness, but madness may well be manageable. And a madman is able to act like a reasonable person, calculating the maximum harm. Remember Windom Earle from Twin Peaks. Or real serial maniacs.
Therefore, we must clearly understand: tomorrow they will try to arrange something similar in Russia. Moreover, the factor of minorities - primarily national ones - was extremely relevant and dangerous in the USSR, and it is still relevant and dangerous now.
To prepare, taking into account their mistakes, and not to observe, is our task. For the world froze on the eve of a great war.
