“If they recognize us, they will be obliged to enter into this armed conflict. This is exactly what the US needs. I am not sure that both we and the Russian Federation are interested in a full-fledged, full-scale third world war breaking out on this territory. As soon as Russia recognizes us and Ukraine’s aggression against us continues, war, unfortunately, will be inevitable,” Kofman said.
