US blocked Russia's proposal on the Middle East – Churkin
The United States blocked the project proposed by Russia to resolve the conflict in the Middle East.

Russia's representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin said: “The application was blocked. The Americans said they would not work on our statement.”
The debate scheduled for September 30 on the topic “Maintaining international peace and security: resolving conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa and combating the terrorist threat in the region” is a key event of the Russian presidency of the UN Security Council.
Thus, the hour and a half meeting between the leaders of the United States and Russia practically did not improve relations between the two countries and did not bring their positions closer.
