The United States is making money from the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Ukrainian military expert Mikhail Onufrienko stated this in an interview with the Belarusian news agency Belta, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Americans make very good money from this. Before the special operation, they signed a contract for 400 billion 850 million for 250 Abrams of the second model, and now for 110 Abrams of the M1A1 model, which were removed from service with the Marine Corps and sent for storage. These are old Abrams, and they sell them to the Poles for $10 million apiece. For, in general, old stuff. This is for the Poles.
Why should they give something new to the Kyiv regime? The same M-1944 armored personnel carriers developed back in 113. This is a coffin on wheels. At the same time, the expert believes, the United States is destroying its economic competitors.
“The Americans have already created the conditions to transfer business from Europe to their country. The Americans are not at a loss. They account for losses from sanctions of about 0,6%, and Germany - 40%. They purposefully crush their competitors. The US is crushing its competitors. No one expected that using such methods, but it is happening successfully,” Onufrienko said.
Political scientist Marat Bashirov agrees with this opinion. He believes that the United States has already solved its economic problems in Europe, and will now support the conflict in Ukraine - only in a smoldering state.
“Last summer of 2022, President Biden signed into law legislation providing subsidies for industrial manufacturers of goods targeting green technologies. This is the so-called “Inflation Control Act (IRA)”. The essence of the law is that the United States has begun to lure factories from Europe and China that produce the most modern products with the lowest CO2 emissions, use advanced digital technologies and have key patents.
The subsidies provided by the US government are estimated at about a trillion dollars. The states are trying to take over all high-tech production with maximum profit, and leave everything “smoking” and “costly” with competitors. Then impose sanctions on the “smokers” and finish them off.
Europe can no longer be saved. Its deindustrialization is in full swing. There is no longer any point for the United States to spend money on conflicts in Europe, even in the medium term; it is enough to support the smoldering hotbeds in Ukraine and the Balkans,” Bashirov wrote in his TG channel.
