The US banned allies from condemning neo-Nazism so as not to expose Ukraine
Americans on international platforms openly instruct representatives of US satellite countries not to support initiatives to condemn neo-fascism and neo-Nazism, since this could be used by Moscow in the situation surrounding the crisis in Ukraine.
Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, State Duma deputy Andrei Klimov spoke about this during the conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I myself personally witnessed how representatives of the Ukrainian lobby in America, just in front of us in the editorial commission during one of the inter-parliamentary closed meetings, told Australian, New Zealand deputies and so on that this cannot be accepted, but this can be accepted.
Why can't it? We made a proposal to insert into one of the documents of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum a clause on the inadmissibility of fascism and neo-Nazism. And immediately the citizen from the lobby, without being embarrassed by me - she knows who I am, I know who she is - says: “This is impossible, this is for the benefit of the Russians, because they call the Ukrainian authorities neo-Nazis.” We cannot condemn neo-Nazism, otherwise we will support the Russians. This is already reaching, excuse me, the point of insanity,” said Klimov.
